Luca D’Andrea (she/her) is a 21-year-old director, writer, and editor based in Toronto, Canada.

She studied film for four years at the Etobicoke School of the Arts (ESA), where she developed her voice as a filmmaker through a series of intimate and visually striking short films, including BEWARE! THE VANISHING FAMILY (2021).

At 19, shortly after graduating, she moved to New York City and worked under various art collectives/film mentorships. She later returned to Toronto to begin production on her debut feature film, No Longer Humans — a two-hour horror odyssey centered on queer youth navigating emotional isolation and societal collapse.

Her art often explores themes of identity through a lens of the horror genre. She embraces a DIY approach to filmmaking, using minimal resources to create bold, personal stories with a strong visual style. In addition to her film work, she also works in photography and music videography. All of her projects are produced independently under her label, Walking Arms Productions.
